The Guide to E3 at the L.A. Convention Center

The world's premier event for computer, video and mobile games is in DTLA from June 12-14, 2018

E3 is the world's premier event for computer, video and mobile games and related products. At E3, the video game industry's top talent pack the Los Angeles Convention Center, connecting tens of thousands of the best, brightest, and most innovative in the interactive entertainment industry. For three exciting days, leading-edge companies, groundbreaking new technologies and never-before-seen products will be showcased to video game fans from around the world.

For this year's edition, E3 will feature extended show hours to accommodate all attendees, providing industry and media exclusive time on the show floor without cutting short gamers’ opportunities to play the most anticipated games of the year. Additionally, E3 Coliseum will return to L.A. Live with producer Geoff Keighley (The Game Awards) to give gamers three full days of panels and behind-the-scenes access to the show’s biggest announcements.

“E3 draws the biggest names in video games and entertainment for an incredible worldwide experience,” said Keighley. “And with three days of programming, this year’s E3 Coliseum will bring together video game fans, game creators, and special guests from popular culture to celebrate the most powerful form of entertainment in the world.”


The New Product Spotlight is the list of never-seen-before products displayed at E3 2018. This exciting sampling of “New Products” was supplied by E3 exhibitors and is not inclusive of all the new products expected to be on display at the show.

Competitive, pulse-pounding esports action is taking the stage at E3 2018. The Entertainment Software Association (ESA), the trade association that represents the US video game industry and owns and operates E3, and ESL, the world’s largest independent esports company, will host the biggest esports at the E3 ESL Arena. Located in the heart of the South Hall, the new E3 ESL Arena stage is a 7,500-square-foot dynamic esports experience that seats over 200 fans. The main stage will feature custom player experiences with analysts and casters, giving the audience up-close VIP access to the world of competitive esports.


ESA and E3 are teaming up with producer Geoff Keighley to introduce the E3 COLISEUM, a spectacular main stage that brings video game fans closer to their favorite games and creators. The E3 Coliseum takes place at The Novo at L.A. LIVE: June 12, 10AM – 7PM; June 13, 10AM – 7PM; and June 14, 10AM – 4PM.
