With so much comedic talent in Los Angeles, you’re guaranteed a night full of laughs when you go to one of L.A.’s comedy clubs. The Hollywood Improv Comedy Club is known as the stage where Richard Pryor, Jay Leno, Bette Midler and Lily Tomlin first gained fame. Located on the legendary Sunset Strip, the Laugh Factory has featured stars like Steve Martin, George Carlin, Jerry Seinfeld and Ellen DeGeneres. Jon Lovitz opened his eponymous Comedy Club at Universal CityWalk Hollywood, featuring stand-up comedy and podcasts recorded live by Adam Carolla and Kevin Smith. First & Hope is the new home of Un-Cabaret, the 90s alternative comedy show that’s returned with Margaret Cho, Dana Gould, Taylor Negron and up-and-coming comedians.
